Andre-Philippe Millet

Philippe left France in 1995 for a journey on foot to India. He crossed Israel-Palestine, Turkey, lived in Syria, Iran, Afghanistan and then India. He wrote a book in 2014 "On the Road to Self" Ed Favre (ISBN 978-2828914295) which retraces his wanderings, his encounters with Islam and Sufi masters, his setbacks, his quest for truth and the idea of a single religion with the firm conviction of finding his master Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthy in India.

He lived in Sathya Sai Baba's ashram for years, mixing with both Muslims and Hindus, and then got married in 2004 in Bangalore.

In 2014, he and his wife created Greenland Ashram, an ashram at the foot of the sacred mountain of Arunachala, of which they are co-founders and directors since 2014.
